Kestrel is the last one to go to bed at roughly 11.30 (one bathroom means that I have to plan shower time meticulously- also, having all six of them shower after dinner takes roughly 4 hours).
While Kestrel, Patrick and Loren enjoy games’ night.
After dinner, Orion chats up his would-be-crush, Lakshmi…
Excuse me, Miss, I believe that these poor young orphans need this newspaper more than you! Why are you stealing it?
“I hate poor people.”
Sounds legit.
Okay, Loren. Macho-status rebuked.
It has become the status quo in this household to watch me trekking downstairs to reset the internet adapter so it will actually work anywhere outside the living room twice a day instead of actually doing something about the problem… *sigh*
Loren and Orion can be real machos, Kestrel thinks. Expecting to be waited on and all.
Dinnertime is time to get to know each other. Even though the Teens are all half-siblings, they don’t really know each other.
Shanna Walton walks by- you know, just to bring herself into play in case one of the Teens is looking for a mate once they grow up. Anything to get rid of that outfit. Please.
Loren and Orion are huge fans of kicky bag, it seems.
Kestrel has returned home and is appointed ‘Cook of the day’. Poor thing!
