Ack! I take back everything I said. Took out all of my business related hacks and there’s still just the three of them (hey at least there’s now three) showing up on my lots. Exception: when I play one of them, then the game pulls another one out of the Sims pool (still have to figure out if it is coincidential or if it always chooses the last Sim played). This is just… ridiculous.

Playtesting. I rebuilt the entire neighbourhood (since it’s a pre-made hood, it really wasn’t much work). Good news: The game seems to be able to send another Sim if one of the “favourite Sims” owns the business they’re supposed to visit. Bad news: a what I would call concerning amount of Andrea Hogan and Brandon Lillard.

I’m really at my wit’s end here. It’s a new neighbourhood, clean (I checked it before I started moving Sims in). Considering it seemed like the business feature worked just fine in my test neighbourhood (I might want to check that again though) and the hack conflict utility detected no conflicting behaviour (but, man, it HATED the bouncy baby chair from the SimsStore!), I am very confused. I will take out all of my business hacks to see if there is some conflict the utility didn’t detect, but if not… I have no idea what else to do, to be frank.
