Lately, the parsonage has been filled with life, as Father Moore regularly invites over the town’s elite for political discussions. At first, he was hesitant whether it would be proper to extend the invitation to Lady Harlowe, but the young woman has proven to be a veritable, albeit unconventional, conversational partner. She also insisted on bringing her young servant along, and the priest is thankful for the help young Hilda provides- although her solemn temper and fatalistic disposition strike him as a bit worrying. The company is a mixed blessing, too. Apart from the somewhat unpleasant arguments the benevolent Father often find himself in with the local factory owner, Mr Cullen- not of the charitable kind- his mind starts to wander to the young Lady at the most improper times…

Down by the river, far away from the quiet hamlet of Angler’s Cove, lies a small factory. In there, the less fortunate Sims of the area try to make a meagre living by working for the local business mogul. Work is hard and the environment harsh. Mr Cullen can be an unforgiving boss, making the workers pay for every small mistake they make. Your best bet is keeping your head down and hoping that- for once- you won’t be the one to fall on his bad side.

On the topic of nightlights…

Nightlights rule! I’m sleeping so much better with one than without. Of course, the best option is to have someone else sleep in that room with you but that’s not always an option…

TWINS!

didilysims said: Twins just love poor families!

Well, Kaylynn does have the fertility reward. I should just stop giving that to EVERY family sim in this hood.

I probably read it, but, to be honest, I currently have the memory of a goldfish. I handed out drinks today and almost poured coffee ‘into’ a saucer instead of a cup- three separate times!

Funny thing! I showed it to my boyfriend and he said exactly the same! I guess it does look a bit like a shoe.
