“I heard it on the radio half an hour ago.”
“And you didn’t call me?!”
“Calm down, Sandy. We don’t know if this will impact us yet.”
“Of course it will! There are already talks about taxing the suburbs of SimCity, too! … Andrea, you’re smart. Tell me, what do you think I should do?”
Andrea sighed. “Wait. Wait until they announce more, and if they decide to impose it on the suburbs, too, sell. And look for a job. Any type of job. You’re gonna need it.”
The other end of the line went quiet for a moment and Andrea thought that Sandy had lost the connection when she heard a faint sob.
“Good night, Sandy. Try to get some sleep. I’ll drop by tomorrow, okay?”
“Okay. Good night, hun.”
