Last Book I Read: American Panda. Also, currently reading: Carry on by Rainbow Rowell. Just got out of a terrible two year (!) reading slump.

Favorite TV Show: Of all time? Psych. Or 30 Rock. It’s hard to choose…

I would most like to have lunch with: Let’s make this one Sims-related… I think I would love to have lunch with Natasha Una. She’s quirky, fun and I get to eat Grilled Cheese. Win-win!

My PC’s dead

I do have my important stuff (bachelor thesis, university stuff) backed up- including Sims back ups, but I’ve been rather… neglectful in regards to pictures (also, the take up a shitton of space). So, worst case, I will loose all the gameplay pictures of three households I played (and haven’t put in the queue yet). 

So please bear with me while I try to figure out what’s going on and write my bachelor thesis. There is stuff for another 2 months in the queue, so don’t worry, you’ll barely notice my absence.

Also: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 700 FOLLOWERS!

UPDATE: It’s my (cheap-ish) main board that’s the issue. Well, it’s gone, but easy and cheap to replace. An old friend is helping me out. As for my thesis? I’m going to write it on my teeny tiny good for nothing but web surfing Netbook. Wish me luck. XD

All work and no Sims…

Only two more months (and a 30 pages term paper, two 20 pages term papers and 2 half-hour oral exams- ugh) and I’ve finally got a college degree. Took me long enough!

And if everything goes wrong… I know so much about Jack the Ripper now (one of my oral exams is about him- and socio-economic developments in post-war Britain- EXCITING!) that I could just move to London and do tours. Or become a copycat killer- haven’t decided yet.

Ah, so it IS an American thing! And they really work? Would’ve thought you’d just end up with slightly warm cookie dough. (we never had anything like this, only regular play kitchens)

SIMBLR GAMEPLAY STYLE EVOLUTION CHALLENGE (TS2, TS3, TS4)

First picture was uploaded to my tumblr on the 26th of June 2013 (my tumblr is basically ancient), the last one is from sometime last month (not actually sure if I posted it already… my queue is a bit too well-fed!).

I’ve never had a drastic style change, but I think you can spot a few differences, mainly in the skin/ hair area- my skins have become more Maxis-matchy, while my hair folder is now a little bigger- and less “Maxis”. XD

I think I’ve come a long way. I’m now more confident in my style and what and how to play. Disabling the Tumblr pushup notifications on my phone has also been a real lifesaver- I’m no longer as anxious about the amount of notes I get.

Still haven’t figured out how to sharpen and resize, though!

Announcement

So, I will be in Paris for the rest of the week (for college) and will start writing my bachelor’s thesis (undergraduate/ honours thesis- compulsory here in Germany) and prepare for my final oral exams afterwards. So I’ll probably won’t be around much until the end of July, but I’ll lurk and like. And the queue is good for at least another 50 days, so you’ll barely notice that I’m not here.

(Also, I’m like really tired right now (summer induced sleep deprivation- it’s just too bright and too hot to sleep…) and English is hard, so sorry for any unintelligible babblings (spell check’s working overtime!).
