didilysims said: Oh, the Globe! Did you see a show there?

Sadly, no. BUT we were there during production of “The Heresy of Love” and saw part of a rehearsal. For the short times we were in there (we got in there, watched a bit, got out and the tourguide told us something about the Globe, then got in again etc.), everyone was fussing about the shoes of an actress because they were too tight, so she failed to get changed in time and later on even almost tripped, if I remember correctly. It was surreal. Oh, and the play seems to be good. It’s well reviewed. Would have loved to see it, it looked interesting.

How long have you been part of the simming community?

I signed up for the German “Simforum” in the summer of 2009. That’s six years already!

Do you dabble in the other Sims games or are you strictly Sims 2?

I’ve tried Sims 3 when I got my first laptop. It looked much better… I also ‘dabbled’ in Sims for facebook, but quickly lost interest. Just not the same.

Who was your favourite sim you’ve ever had in your game? Post a picture (if you’ve got one)!

That would be the mom of the girl in my avatar and no, I don’t have a picture of her anymore.

She was a downtownie (Ivy Butler). She fell in love with a much older man, got twins, was widowed early and became a famed author of detective novels. Poor Caroline (girl in my avatar) had an unsteady relationship with the town’s (Aonda’s Village) Casanova, had herself twins and was generably rather miserable, while her brother married Ginger Newson. They had a son.

Have you ever lived in another country?

New Zealand, 2011. Three months as an international student. Loved it. (But was sooo homesick sometimes. I was 15, okay?)

What is your favourite time of year?

Late spring/ early autumn. Love the weather, the light and the colors around.

When was the last time you went on holiday?

A month ago, two weeks in England (one week in Suffolk, one in Norfolk). Visited Cambridge and London. Here, have some holiday pictures to  make up for me not seeing this for ages!

My brother really want to visit Speedy’s (huge TV series nerd!) They make great sandwiches!

Where do you want to visit more than anywhere else?

I’d like to visit New Zealand again! (Apparently, it’s some sort of dream vacation destination for people in my country. Well, it has a certain charm!) Or America? Texel, an island in the Netherlands were we always spend our spring vacation… beautiful places where I’ve never been to? I’ve started college right after I finished school, so I didn’t have a gap year for travelling like some of my former classmates. I don’t regret it, but I would have loved travelling.

Do you see yourself playing the sims for the foreseeable future?

Yep. Until I lose interest completly, I’ll always come back.

What kind of computer do you play your game on?

A good one. Desktop. Good graphics. “Selfmade”. Specifically for gaming. The worst component is my harddrive. XD

Do you know anyone in real life that sims?

Yep, a friend of mine casually plays Sims 3, and some others played it when we were younger. Would need to ask them if they still. I don’t really talk about it in real-life.

What’s your dream job?

A job at the theatre, behind the scenes. Director, dramatic advisor, assistant director, you name it.

I’m not sure how old this is and if people still do this, so I won’t tag anyone. If you want to do it, feel free to do it. I’m lazy, use toofasttoofar’s questions. I don’t think they’d mind!

Well, I would be hungry, too. They are far away from any form of civilisation… but still, THE CHICKEN? (They are decorative, btw. I would be more concerned if this were the NPC ones)

Funnily enough, I’m not really happy with it. There’s something off.

Late, late replies

Somethings off on my dashboard… Anyway, let’s start.

Diese Dinger sind aber auch extrem hartnäckig. Die kommen in Wellen. Manchmal bin ich echt dankbar für die Block-Funktion!

didilysims said: Aw. 😦 But on the bright side…at least she knows who the father is now?

I guess so? I don’t know how this will play out. Single mum and founder at this stage of the settlement is… harsh. I actually didn’t want to bring kids into that mix so soon. Welp, forgot to put them on birth control. And- yaay, you’re back!!! *throwsconfetti*

(I need to rethink my rotations. Nora has been in her second trimester for longer now than Claire was pregnant at all. Among other things that bugger me about a seasonal rotation-style. Back to the old 2-days then after this round…)

Sooo… where did I hide?

Sorry from disappearing after coming back so briefly. I just finished my first year of college and still have to get some work wrapped up. I’m also sure I failed a course, thank god I’m not hurrying to finish college (college is (mostly) free here in Germany, which is pretty cool, because you can take all the time you need without having to worry about money. Downside- there are a lot of long-time students (in Dramatics, studying 10+ terms seems to be the norm XD) And it’s just one course, it ~should~ be possible to take it again next semester). BUT, I’ll be on vacation soon, so don’t expect that much post from me in the near future! ^^

When you get this, reply with 5 things that make you happy, then send it to the last 10 people you have notes from in your activity. ^-^

Oh! Hi there.

Oh dear…

1. My impending freedom. Only one more week of college and then I’m free for 3 whole months… whoo!

2. My dogs. Couldn’t live without them.

3. This may sound kind of weird, but I’ve got a new found sense for fashion. Kind of. I enjoy dressing up lately.

4. My family. We’ve been through hard times over the past year and I think we get along better than before.

5. Finally having some sort of fully wired brain. Puberty was horrible. Crying over burnt toast and destroyed Christmas ball ornaments. I’m not kidding you.

Wow, that was random and kind of personal. But hey, sometimes you need to dig deeper to cheer you up on a grey day like this.
