Komei has fled the whole circus a looong time ago and retired to bed.
And of course, it’s a dream date and Ivy is completely smitten with Remington when she leaves. No, she doesn’t stay the night, Remington is old-fashioned like that (and to be honest, prides himself in being the perfect gentleman).
Before the date even starts, Remington feels the need to apologize that he can’t treat Ivy to a nice and fancy dinner (they are pretty broke). Ivy doesn’t mind, she just asks him to shut up and stop apologizing.
The barbecue was a huge success and quickened by that, he asks Ivy on a date.
