Sophie invites over her good friend Kennedy over for lunch. He’s a general in the army and they met last years when she assisted him during a secret operation in Three Lakes and n-nooo, she absolutely does not have a huge crush on him, why’d you ask?
Schlagwort: tellerman
Looks like they start to warm up to each other!
Sophie is somewhat nocturnal, so she does most of her work after Jan has fallen asleep. Since she also snoops around a bit (in the name of justice, mind you!), that’s probably for the best.
The women are off to a rough start…

“That I’ll be living with you until the situation has been resolved.”
“You mean the threatening letters I got a while back? Oh come on, that hardly warrants a bodyguard.”
“Oh, I’m not a bodyguard. I’ll be living with you and do some research on your life and work. We hope this will make it easier to catch the perpetrator. You see, my superiors took these letters quite seriously. And we would prefer the mailer of them doesn’t make good on his… promise. Arguing won’t make a difference, Ms Tellerman. Everything has been arranged already.”

“Well, good luck then. I can promise you that you won’t see much of me. I’m working towards a promotion so I work late. And when I’m home I usually study. So whatever you may hope to find here, I’m not sure you will.”
“We’ll see about that.”
“As I said: Good luck. *sighs* Just let me figure out where to put the keyboard so you can sleep in the guest room. Oh, and I want to speak to your boss. This is a serious disturbance off my work!”

It’s not going to stay quiet for long, though…

“Hello, my name is Sophie Miguel. I’m from the SBI. I assume my superiors informed you about the situation already?”
“Huh?”
It’s a quiet and lovely afternoon at Jan’s house.

Ah, good to see that nothing changes. Joe still has to clean Polly’s cage once in a while, and Polly still hates him.
And that’s it for the Tellermans. And for Middleground- for now!
I’m on vacation for the next 7 days. See you in a week!

Huh? What’s that? Fairy lights?
Father Time appears, Komei gets all excited and then the cops bust the party.

It was still a huge success. (You’d think they would have disabled the “break up party feature” for the New Year’s Party)
