And with that, we’re finished with the current Middleground round, which means it’s time for the Tricou/Teens teens.

Quick catch-up: in his last will, Jon Smith Tricou promised a huge amount of money and the House of Fallen Trees to the illegitimate child of him who resurrects him. Until then, they live in one of the shabbiest houses the Tricous owned in the worst part of town. So far, the six half-siblings absolutely hate each other (probably due to the fact that they constantly give noogies to each other- as demonstrated in the above picture). They will have to earn money in order to be able to afford college (because somehow, a college degree is needed to even get a job in the Paranormal career), and so far, it’s not looking very good.

Good morning?

I’ve heard you loud and clear…

… you guys just aren’t interested in the Teens teens. And that’s fine. I’m not sure that I’m happy with how I am posting this challenge (the format of my posts just doesn’t work in Tumblr and the constant switches between Middleground and Downtown just lead to being yanked out of the story every other night). So for now, I’ve pulled the Teens from my queue, which means MORE MIDDLEGROUND. And boy, was this a round! Stay tuned!

The bathroom is beyond disgusting at this point. Doesn’t help that Patrick drew the short stick today and is the last one to use it. He eventually goes to bed at 12.30 am. If this keeps getting later, they’ll eventually become nocturnal…

It starts to rain after dinner.

The House of Fallen Trees is always visible from their own home. Just looming in the background. In his will, Jon Smith promised it, the family name, and the family fortune to the first person who manages to bring him back from the dead. The rest of his descendants will inherit nothing. Loren still wonders why they couldn’t stay in the manor until they revived him, but then there are terrible stories about the house and its now deceased inhabitants…
