I just had the very first kid ever taken away from her family by social service! In 6 or 7 years it never happened to me (apart from the few times when I deliberatly neglected my children). And that in a very successful, caring household just because the kid spend to much time outside… Grr.

*goes downloading anti-overheat mod*

Idk why, but I’ve been in a world building and decorating mood lately instead of actually playing the game.

That’s a house from Veronaville, made over. You know, some of the houses in Veronaville look… lost on the big 2×3 lots. (First picture is more or less pre make over view of the hood) This house is approx. 9 tiles wide… So I turned it into a farm (and as you might’ve guessed, this isn’t Veronaville). Now it’s actually one of my favorites! off to make over more lots! *snickers*

Sorry for being so inactive lately, real life is pretty hectic. Anyway, here are some pictures I took while building today. Just for myself, no strings attached to actually play the neighborhood. They’re completly unedited by the way. I’m making baby-steps building stuff, but I’m getting better! I like especially how the two mansions turned out, I usually suck at these.

Due to an unknown cause, the game wouldn’t stop loading whenever I tried to open the local church. While I was searching if the lovely meetmetotheriver might have provided links to her community lots, I wasn’t able to find a link but instead the inspiration for the inaccessible wedding lot: Apple Grove Wedding Chapel  by twoflower, which is now situated right across the street from the original lot (which is allowed to stay for cosmetic reasons ;)). I gave it a more desert-like makeover.

Needless to say, the wedding was a hit and the Freshes became the first couple to be married at the “Sacred Lady Church”(not very creative, I know)… Marla took Toms last name to match the households’ name.

Back at home (they live in one of the houses that look exactly like each other- Julien Cooke lives also here- don’t know why I haven’t took a photo, though) Marla’s a bit bored. Her job (she’s working in Education) won’t start til Monday. Tom comes home with a promotion and a big bonus, which gives them just enough money to prepare their big wedding.

Ellen Frost and Phineaus Furley moved into a nice little trailer right next to where Cyd used to live. They are engaged, but don’t plan on getting hitched right now. Both their LTWs have something to do with animals, so they adopted Ladybug, which is actually way bigger than what her name might suggest. Oh, and Marla visited them.
