But he makes sure that he still finds time to do something he really cares about and that makes him feel better- he’s getting pretty good at kicking a ball into an empty goal… maybe he should find someone to play with?

The rest of the day is pretty boring and he feels a bit stuck in a rut, though. Working, taking a bath to get rid of all that sweat and leafs stuck to his body, skilling (he does want to get rid of that job one day, remember?) and heading to bed early because gardening all day is freaking exhausting. And all that for a meagre salary…

Jesus Christ, my Middleground posts are pretty depressive.

Brandon spends the whole next day painting. Maybe, if he gets better, he will one day be able to quit his bar keeping job and sell his art for a living. Maybe buy back that pub, once he is financially secure enough?

(And that’s it, actually, because I accidentally left the game running while wiping up my dog’s puke. He (Brandon) didn’t die but I have no idea what he did between finishing that painting and going to work. The dog’s fine, too. He just loves eating my palm tree… he has a sensitive stomach and that apparently soothes it?)
