“Wait! Okay, listen: I know how you feel. Ever since Darleen died, things have been difficult. It’s going to get better. Trust me!”
“That’s a nice thought, but-”
“It will. Listen, feel free to come over whenever you need someone to talk to, okay?”
“Okay.”
With Cassandra busy with wedding preparations, Darren had to find a new model, and, as it turns out, Brandi is more than happy to help. She’s also a much more disciplined model than Cassandra.
They’re up in the studio all morning.
The next morning, Darren’s up early and enjoys breakfast with his son.
He’s got a lot planned for today.

This is a completely cc free lot for a single Sim who loves tinkering, music and the colour pink. It could easily be converted into a home business lot. The downstairs garage was heavily inspired by @katattys Silver Rocket Service Station, so I should probably credit the lot here (even though my garage doesn’t look half as good).
(Note: I playtested a copy. The lot you’re getting has never housed a Sim.)

Found an old hard drive with really ancient Sims stuff on it. I’m talking 2012. Anyway, I jumped into my old neighbourhood I played religiously back then because I have a very hazy memory of having a Sim giving birth to a ridiculous number of babies. Didn’t find that Sim, so I probably imagined it, but look at how big this neighbourhood was! How did my poor old laptop handle this?
Darren runs into Brandi, one of the mums from school and fellow single parent.
“Say, do you have any idea how to get over a crush you have? Like, when the love of your life is marrying another guy?”
“Um…”
Shopping Spree and makeover.
Darren is convinced that you’re only as old as you feel- and dress.
Darren finishes his portrait and gifts it to his muse.
“I suppose Dad’s upstairs? Anyway, I’m off to work. See yourself out.”
Darren Dreamer has his muse over for a painting session, but Cassandra’s not a very patient model.
