The Burbs are your perfectly ordinary neighbours. Jennifer is a dancer, John works as a sub at the local school and little Lucy enjoys living close to her older cousins.
Schlagwort: pleasantview
“You know, maybe it’s for the best, darling. He wasn’t the right one for you. There are so many other men out there that would treat you so much better!”
“I don’t want another man, Dad. I want Don!”

“Of course. Great.”
Needless to say, the wedding is cancelled.
The wedding guests arrive.
Darren seems a bit frantic to tell Cassandra about something Don allegedly did, but Cassandra doesn’t want to hear anything about it. Not today.
It’s her wedding day, after all.
Wedding day preparations. Dina comes over early to help. She’s kind of the unofficial wedding planner.
At the Goth Manor, Cassandra and Don inspect the placeholder wedding decorations (her aunt Dina insisted on using them to get “a feeling” since the real ones won’t be delivered until tomorrow morning). Don stays a few more hours, while Mortimer broods over his future son-in-law. He wishes Bella was there, she was so much better at judging people’s intentions than him.
After a night of wandering around the house, Mary-Sue feels much better the next morning.
Unfortunately, no one really notices her new haircut. Angela’s busy sucking up her boyfriend’s mother, her father is working out and her mother came home with a cold and locked herself inside her bedroom in order to get well again in time for Ms Goth’s wedding this weekend.
At least her grandma, who came over for dinner, noticed (and disapproves).
