Informal dinner. Joe has some grand new ideas for the town, but Jan has to set him straight on a couple of them.
Schlagwort: Middleground

You okay, Komei?

Komei drops by as well, to congratulate his old friend in person.

They quickly claim the swimming pool while Jan prepares dinner.
Early next morning, Jan heads to her first day at her new job.

Oh, look whom she brought back with her!

Yeah, I don’t trust you two to behave.
A college for Middleground?
So it’s time. My oldest born in game Sim is old enough to head to college which means that I have to add a college first. But I have no idea which one.
I’m pretty sure I don’t want to add the premade colleges, mainly because I would like to limit this neighbourhood to townies only and they’re- you know- populated. Instead, I would like to add the teen townies as dormies and potential romantic partners. But I also reeeeaaally don’t feel like building a whole college neighbourhood (because let’s face it, I would probably abandon the neighbourhood out of stress). I know that Kattaty has some awesome empty premade college hoods makeovers, but wouldn’t that feel… weird? I don’t know.
I’m open for suggestions.

Jan’s still pretty miffed about it. (Even though the burglar didn’t steal anything)
Gotcha!

Looks like word got around that this might be someone who has a lot of cash on her hands…

Too bad she’s got like three alarm systems.

Sorry, but I don’t think she wants to talk to you, Leo…
The next few hours were just a steady stream of congratulatory call upon congratulatory call. Andrea and Joe, her whole campaign team, a bunch of old friends from the city and a whole lot of journalists asking for an interview called. She answered each one.

In the evening, as the calls finally stopped, she took some time to celebrate. From tomorrow onwards, she would be a member of the State Assembly. And with her foot in the door like that, it would be easy to rise through the ranks…
