The next morning goes by pretty fast. Komei left late last night. Joe prefers it that way, he tells himself.
Oh, look who walks by.

The evening ends… predictably.
“Hey, have you heard about Ivy?” Everyone has by now, Joe.
They have a nice time there.
Christy: “Joe! Nice to see you!”
Brandon: “Hold still! I want to paint you like this!”
In a small town like this, you always run into people you know. Even if it’s your ex-girlfriend. Especially if it’s your ex-girlfriend.
“Say, wanna head over to Andrea’s old Diner and grab a bite? I heard the chain that took it over is pretty good?”
Joe invites over his boyfriend Komei, who is more than happy to see him.
Down at 03 Main Street, it’s business as always. Joe got a promotion!
Mr Moustache actually manages to catch the burglar. Yaaay! (My cops are usually rather useless.)
Brandon is glad to see that he will be able to peacefully sleep at night, knowing that the cops in Middleground aren’t all bumbling idiots.

Mr Moustache: “Say, this is a rather long walkway, isn’t it?”
Burglar: “Just drop me off at the prison, Harvey.”
And that’s it for now!
Good thing Brandon has invested in a burglar alarm.

Um… you should probably turn around…
Just one masterpiece. Something that establishes him on the market. Then he can quit his job and become a full-time artist.

It looks like his emerging fame is attracting less benevolent creatures…

Burglar: “Jeez, that is one long walkway!”
