Kaylynn, the schmoozer roommate is still there, too, trying to cure the Copurs of their plantsim-ism.
Schlagwort: Middleground
It’s time for the Copurs (+ Kaylynn the mean witch).
Ares and Poppy are glued to each other. Meanwhile, Ivy has come down with the flu (great, that Winter’s Day celebration really did infect the whole neighbourhood…).
But suddenly, the house just feels so empty.
Talking to Polly helps to ease the pain…
“You wanted to force Christy to give up custody over Timothy so he could live with us?!”
“You said you wanted a family!”
“Not like this! Are you insane?”
“I did this for us!”
“No, no. You did it for yourself. I can’t believe- you’re trying to sabotage yourself.”
“Huh?!”
“You’re sabotaging yourself. You ran away from Christy after she proposed to you, you flirted with Sandy right in front of my eyes shortly after our proposal, and now that we’re about to get married, you pull off this… stunt. You…”

“I- I’m… You can’t…”
“You need to leave.”

“What?!”
“I want you to leave. You’re clearly not ready to commit, and I don’t think you’ll ever be. You’re afraid of commitment, and I’m not gonna deal with that.”

“Leave. Now. You can come back when- if you’re ever ready. Maybe.”

“Komei!”
“Please. Go.”
And with that, it’s over.
“We need to talk.”
“This is Christy. Tell Joe that I talked to my lawyer and since he never paid a single simoleon child support in his life, he has no standing.”
“Um, Christy? What’s going on?”
“Oh, he didn’t tell you? He called me last night and threatened to get a lawyer involved if I didn’t immediately hand over Timothy to him!”
“…”
“Komei?”
“I see.”
Promotion!

Komei’s barely set foot into the house when the phone rings…
“Hello?”
On Monday morning, Komei heads off to work, while Joe still has enough time to catch up on his favourite tv show before heading to work himself.
Idyllic family life. Polly is still alive and kicking, as well (yay, me!).
