Awww! Karen and the kids have grown quite close over time and consider each other family.
(Karen actually adopted all of them, which, in hindsight, drastically limits the dating pool in Middleground…)

Another promotion for Marsha! Just like Orlando, she has climbed the job ladder in record time!
(She’s a SimJazzer instructor now.)
Home from school again.
Chloe doesn’t get why Karen’s so happy. Her grades still suck and she hasn’t made any new friends today.
Early mornings.
Chandler and Orlando try their hands at cooking (with varying degrees of success), while Marsha paints a bit before heading to school.
Marsha got a promotion! She’ll now work as a backup dancer!
After school, Marsha manages to snag a teen job as an aerobics instructor on the first try! Impressive!

Orlando has to head to work an hour earlier than Marsha, who still has some time to squeeze in some skilling.

Over at the orphanage, future ballerina Marsha Bruenig enjoys a workout before heading to school with the rest of the kids.
Komei realises that they are all out of groceries and heads over to the local grocery store, which is crowded! (Also, it took the game 2 Simhours to load the lot.) Guess I’ll need to get rid of that “more community lot visitors mod”. It’s nice for bigger neighbourhoods but just looks ridiculous in Middleground.

The park gets a bit overcrowded, so Chloe and Orlando decide to head to the local diner instead.
