He spends his afternoon doing… this.
Schlagwort: komei tellerman
Komei got the job! (Let’s just pretend he didn’t have it already.) He will be working as a firefighter starting immediately. Not his dream job and not hazard-free, but you can’t be picky these days.
Early next morning, Komei heads off into the city, where he has a job interview. Nothing fancy, though. The job market is still in ruin after the recent crisis.
“Should I have said something? Should I have done something?”
“I should have said something.”
After dinner, Remington retires to his room. Komei and Joe chat a little more…
He stays for dinner and vents his anger about his ex-lover, Sandy.
Komei listens intently.
Joe drops by as promised.
…and then they played kicky bag for 3 hours straight.
“What are you doing?”
“Looking for a job. This whole tax panic is driving me nuts. I want to have a reliable income when this whole country goes mad.”
“And you think someone will actually hire you?”
“Why do I even put up with you?”
“Because deep down inside, you love me? And you can’t cook to save your life.”
“… yeah, I guess. Hey, do you wanna come over for lunch? … oh, no, I see. Gonna make a fortune with your newsstand today, huh? Yeah, people tend to do that when they panic…”
“Komei’s got a cru-hush!”
“Oh shut up! No! Not you- I- just my annoying roommate… oh, tonight? Sure, that would be… nice, I guess…”
