Still catching up over dinner…
And Joe really visits. The two quickly catch up.
“Oh, hey Joe…. yes, nice to be hearing from you… listen, I’m actually busy with preparing dinner right now- you know what? Why don’t you come over for dinner? We can chat then.”
Later on, he does acknowledge his daughter, though (what is going on with my pictures? They are clearly out of order!)
Komei spends the whole day trying to earn those darn mechanic points, completely ignoring Brittany. Good thing Brittany knows how to entertain herself (I repeatedly scream into the void).
Early next morning, Komei finally cleans up the abundance of old newspapers lying on the front porch.
Also, bathroom ballet.
Dinnertime.
Brittany asks Komei for homework help.
Komei is hellbent on getting the next promotion (which might be the last one needed to achieve his lifetime wish) and promptly ignores Brittany when she actually comes home from school. She knows how to entertain herself, though.
