Later that evening, Christy visits. Andrea and Christy plan a Winter’s Day celebration at Andrea’s place for the whole town. She and Remington spent the day finding a suitable tree and chopping it down, only to drag it to Andrea’s front yard and re-erect it. Christy may have gone a bit overboard though. As you can see, the tree’s already decorated. Andrea is very thankful for their help and makes a mental note to organise some sort of fundraiser for them once the twins grow up and need a proper bedroom. They are still very broke.

“Hello, Hogan speaking… Jan! Haven’t heard from you in ages. How are you?… You want to what? Um, sure, I can keep an eye on the housing market here. But why?… Uh huh. I see… A job? Oh dear, I don’t think… Thank you, thank you! But… Okay, I’ll think about it… Yes, sure, I’ll call you if I find something suitable.”

After Ivy has returned from work, she gets a phone call from a strange number.

“Hello?”

“Hey, it’s me, Pao, the bartender from yesterday. I got your number from that blonde at the bar. I just wanted to check you were okay?”

“Yes. Thank you.”

“Listen, I don’t normally do this, but do you wanna go out tonight?”

“I don’t need a pity date. Didn’t you tell me that you aren’t allowed to have ‘relationships’ with customers?”

“But you’re not a customer right now, are you?”

“*sigh* Alright. Do you wanna come over? I’ll cook for you. The white house just down the street from the pub. Seven pm?”

“Sounds lovely.”
