Ah! See, as a non-native speaker I often miss little differences like this and end up confused. So maybe don’t call every falcon a “kestrel” from now on?

It’s for college. They are already in the loop (and the one causing trouble). They can give me a 4.0 (American (high school?) grade D) for all I care. Just let me use that one so I can write my bachelor’s thesis!

We’re talking about random pictures and my umpteen attempts at creating a BACC (like New Salem, which was abandoned after like one and a half rounds). Like, at one point I made over all the Pleasantview townies and plopped them down in a neighbourhood- and then apparently never touched it again? I have an extremely short attention span and it shows. XD Stuff like Sul Sula and such, which I’m really passionate about, are safely stored in the depths of my Simblr and will never be deleted!

Yeah, she probably is. But she had a “Woohoo” want and quite frankly, there is no other male Sim in Middleground she feels even remotely attracted to (I’m still curious about how that 1 bolt between her and Brandon came to be) and I don’t think Remington- stuck up bastard he can be- would be willing to continue their relationship as an affair in order to fulfil that one “Woohoo” want. Don’t worry though, this was a purely casual hook up and their relationship will stay this way (no babies were made)..

Uhhh! That’s another very good option. So far, I’ve mercilessly deleted hairstyles, even the ones that looked just too similar to each other, compared my list to Keonis’ default replacements (I may actually keep those) and moved hair that doubled with that into my “SortedOut” folder, and FINALLY got rid of almost all redundant V1 hairstyles. And my Hair folder is now down from almost 3 GB to…. *drumroll* 900mb including defaults. (Yes, I was really desperate to get rid of all that unused hair. I only use like the same 25-40 over and over again…). I have three V1 hairstyles left, because I like them that much and just couldn’t find a V2 replacement (one’s the “Sandy” hair, the other two are a Nouk Girl Next Door Alpha Edit and Nouk’s Long Braid- we need more Nouk love, methinks).

Hmm… whom do I pick?

You know what, since I’ve recently rediscovered my old Viper Canyon save, I’ll take one of them for nostalgia’s sake.

Jodie Larson, whom I’ve only ever played in Viper Canyon (although she is one of my favourite pre-made Sims… hm…). She makes a formidable villain. (Sorry for that grainy pic, back then I took pictures with the in-game camera)

1. Jodie Lawson was a big fan of “K.I.M.” (the Kims’ sci-fi series) back when it aired. She’s been obsessed with Robert Kim ever since she watched that show.

2. She doesn’t mind being called a “gold-digger”. Yes, she was looking for a rich husband. Yes, she did everything she could to ensure her plan would work. Added bonus that her “prey” was her big obsession?

3. Jodie has often used Jason for her goals. He made a good pawn and was naive enough not to notice- well until he noticed that she was using him after she encouraged his affair with Cynthia Kim only to turn around and marry Robert Kim after he broke up with Cynthia. He cut ties after that.

4. Deep down inside, Jodie loves her brother, though. He is the only family she has left and they are pretty close. Sometimes she regrets that they lost contact after he figured out that she was using him. But there’s no turning back now, or is it?

5. Jodie hasn’t forgotten her dream of her own business but has never pursued it because she feared failure. What if she will prove incapable of managing a store? What if the store isn’t successful? What if she’ll be unable to pay the bills? She has never failed before.

(6. Bonus fact: she may be a ‘villain’ but that doesn’t mean she cannot be a loveable dork at times. And have her regrets about what she has done.)

Oh yes, that’s true. I think when you’re thinking about Desiderata Valley, you first think of Natasha and John before anyone else. They are just unique. How could I forget inferi-sims! They were part of the reason I got a tumblr (so I could follow all the storytellers!)!

Fun fact! Joe has never started a fight in my game (on his own… you’ll see.). Middleground’s resident asshole is Komei. He has beaten up/shoved a bunch of Sims.

Huh. That’s really weird! I’ve redownloaded it a few times (even restarted my PC) and both folders (NH and SC4) are still empty for me… huh?

Ah, should’ve clarified it. The N174 folder is completely empty. There’s nothing in it. Not even a picture. Which struck me as really weird. I might actually do that, although I’m pretty sure it ~should~ have generated a lot folder when I plunked down the first lot… weird.

I am so ridiculously bad at keeping Sims alive at times… The saddest thing about the Kaylynn thing was that she was pregnant. Thank god Daniel was there to save her.

I effed up. Apparently her energy was already in the red but I didn’t notice and just wanted her out of my hair (she and Ty had toddler girls and I was kinda focused on them). Put a few “swim here” in her queue… yeah. Not my brightest moment (I once accidentally killed Kaylynn Langerak because I let her learn “parenting” (she starved)… I have bad luck with keeping mums alive…)
