Yeah, he (and his animator’s- holy plumbbob, the dude has two spines!) has some issues. They did a weird thing with the synchronisation where they have him talk with weird voice cracks which, coupled with the over the topness of the animation, makes him seem more than a little off (they also did a bunch of things with his villain song (as discussed in an earlier reply). He’s also voiced by the guy that voices Sebastian in the Little Mermaid, which doesn’t help his case (nothing against the voice actor, he’s great, but once I figured it out, I could not take the character seriously, especially since both characters sounded very similar when singing).

Yeah, he is definitely gross, but then again, he is a decaying corpse. I actually figured out what put me off the synchronisation: he is voiced by the guy who voices Sebastian the crab (?) in the German version of the Little Mermaid. Which makes “In the Dark of the Night” unintentionally funny (they also changed the background music, which by all means make it sound like a depressed hippie singing with beetles). I knew I knew the voice actor!

That’s… that’s a lot. Thanks, I definitely will. It’s just… a lot to makeover. Oh, I don’t quite know what I’ll do with it yet. I could imagine playing it regularly, but I could also see myself making up little “slice of life” stories with it (the second option would allow me to keep my attention on my other stuff…hm).

Yeah, there are going to be a lot of redheads next generation. Brittany and Andrew’s future kids are obvious, but all of the Spitzig kids and Rufus Hogan also have recessive genes for red hair, Abigail either has a recessive for red or blonde, and Chandler is a natural redhead as well.

Yeah, Andrew has the most cohesive mix of his parents’ genes, I think. Benjamin can look a bit wonky. Andrew also looks similar to Brittany, so I’m very curious how their children will look like.

(Now I’m curious whether it would be possible for Andrew and Brittany to have a blonde kid)

I wholeheartedly agree. The downstairs pool is pretty cool, and even though I shudder at the thought of only having half-walls surrounding them, it does look pretty rad.

Yeah, they went completely overboard in the jock (?) district by the sea and neglected all of the Upper Belladonian districts (which is a shame, really). But even more lots would be madness, too. Aren’t there like 50 lots already?

(Also, I may or may not have ~~stolen~~ borrowed some of your makeovers of Belladonna Cove. Seriously, they are so pretty!)

Ha! Yeah, it’s not that clear. I think it depends on how it’s translated from Greek. But “Athena” tends to be more common in English, while “Athene” is more popular in German. Probably due to linguistical differences (”Athene” just works better with how German words flow…)

As soon as you mentioned it, though, I remembered. I even went back and looked at a few of the earlier posts, which was fun, so I probably will reread the whole thing sometime soon. I always appreciate “at-a-glance” posts, though, with brief synopses and family trees, etc. 🙂

Yeah, I really want to do this one day… but probably not until summer, when I’m done with college (I’m wrapping things up, which means I have to do two oral exams, two long term papers and my thesis… which is quite a lot, I must admit- that’s why I stocked up my queue with 300 posts.
