Aw, seriously?
Schlagwort: dead man’s land
Ouch.
Apart from Hannah’s duties as the towns’ leader, she and Ricky live a peaceful life.
Hannah invited her fellow settlers over to discuss their plans. Some get along better than others…
Mechanic Jacob Metzker and Electrician Violet Yocum share the last shack. While Violet is only supposed to stay until electricity is up and running, Jacob’s job is a long-term commitment to the little community. He brought his pet dog, Silly along, who is much more spoiled than you would think. Jacob signed up last minute after the first mechanic cancelled the trip due to health issues. He isn’t sure if it was the right idea, though. Meanwhile is Violet thinking about staying here forever. She feels right at home. If only Jacob wasn’t such a lazy guy.
Amy Duggan was asked to accompagny the group as an architect. Raised in the big city, Amy doesn’t feel comfy in the outskirts of SimCityState. Right now, she has a lot of free time at her hands and not much to do now that all houses are built, which leave much time to thinking and wondering if this really was the right choice to do.
Grace Wintjen, her roommate, on the other hand, feels great. She is a businesswoman throughout and the opportunity to set up a running economy in this small godforsaken place thrills her. Maybe she can finally show the world what a great entrepreneur she is…
Rachel and Sarah Quackenbush joined the expedition after their farm- home to more than five generations of Quackenbushs- burned down. What they would’ve never dreamed is that along the trek, Sarah fell in love with Lucian Bishop, the security guard assigned to escort the little group. The newly-weds enjoy the privacy of an own little house after the months on the trek. Rachel, a family sim, can’t help but feeling a bit envious of her big sister. Always been kind to animals, she brought along Twiggy and Bird, two kittens she found shortly before departure. After all, they are going to need someone to keep all the rats in check. No one wants nibbled potatoes.
Brothers Phillip and Daniel Newcomb wanted to be adventurers since they’ve been little. When both got the chance to join the expedition as a medic and a natural scientist, they signed contracts in a heartbeat. But as harmonic as this duo is, Daniel, the younger brother by twenty minutes, secretly wishes that the more extroverted Phillip would’ve stayed in SimCity or chose another trek. He can’t help but often feels like he’s put in the shadow by his brother.
Hannah Bohnert and her trusty German Shorthair Ricky are the leaders of the small expedition. Hannah recently graduated from college, majoring in history. When an offer to lead an expedition into the vast wilderness of SimCityState popped up, she didn’t hesistate a minute. She always dreamed of making it big and would love to become famous as one of the first pioneers to ever tamed Dead Man’s Land.
Dead Man’s Land. This is the name of the huge area north SimCity. Many adventure stories have been written about this strange, mostly uninhabited land. Rarely did Sims settle down there and many of the early settlements failed horribly. A new campaign, led by the SimCity government, aims at ‘cultivating’ the area. A small group of settlers, curious what the future may hold, decided to become part of the project. Originally they planned to settle further up north, but the unusual steep and unpassable river forced them to relocate. Now located near the river, the little settlements awaits its first spring on its own. Will the settlers make the little town their home or will they fail horribly like the Sims trying to tame the wilds before?
