Brandon stays for dinner.
At noon, Sandy invites over Brandon and all her curses are forgotten as soon as she sees him (seriously, if they weren’t Romance Sims, they would probably be married with a whole bunch of kids by now).
Brandon is completely smitten with little Chloe (seriously, he would not put her down. I feared he might accidentally end up ‘kidnapping’ her, but he eventually handed her over to Sandy.).
Brandon comes over for mental support and even fixes the broken bathtub… only to leave as soon as Sandy falls asleep on the couch.
Back uphill at Sandy’s little house, things are a bit… chaotic, to say the least.
“What you’ve done with that place is pure magic!”
“Okay, listen: you can stay until you’ve got enough money to afford your own home again. I know that you still have to pay off a mortgage for a house you no longer live in, and I understand your difficult situation, but I love my personal space. I work from home. I need it.”
“Ah, don’t worry, I’ll be back on my own feet in no time!”
“And I can’t believe you betrayed Komei like this! He’s worth his weight in gold! You can thank him for convincing me to let you stay here. He really cares about you, man.”
“I know…”
“Brandon, old pal! How’s my favourite buddy?”
“Cut it, Joe. We haven’t talked in years!”
“And I’m honestly sorry for that. Listen, I’m sorry for never calling you and I understand if you chase me off the lot, but I need a place to crash-”
“Komei already told me that you’d likely come here. You can stay on my couch for a few nights.”
Brandon senses that his apology is honest.
They have a nice, short date until Sandy heads off because she’s feeling unwell. Pregnancy really drains her.

In the evening, Brandon pulls himself together and invites the mother of his unborn child on a date. At his place, of course.
The next day is spent in a similar manner. Sandy walks by quite often, but Brandon doesn’t notice. (I wonder what she’d want to discuss with him?)
