Is there actually a mod or something that makes overnight guests actually sleep? Mine only run around laughing at their host’s taste in pictures and decorations before heading home in the wee-est hours of morning… Who thought that programming that was a good idea (and now I desperately want to know what kind of guest they are. I think we can safely exclude ‘a good one’.)

And now for something sweet: Brandon and Sandy have a nice little date.

They have one of the sweetest, most functional relationships in my game.

Bonus date wish panels… (Now, if one of them would only roll for a want to get engaged… YOU BOTH WANT TO MARRY EACH OTHER! MAKE THE FIRST STEP!)

When Brandon arrives at home, someone is waiting for him. She tells him her name is Kaylynn, that she is ‘Joe’s new girl’ and that she would like to know what he and Komei were talking about up by the lake (Brandon wonders if she followed him home). He tells Kaylynn everything he knows, how he dumped pregnant Christy Stratton, now Harris, when she asked him to marry her, how he cheated on Komei just weeks before their wedding and then completely fucked up when he wanted sole custody of the child he never cared about. Kaylynn listens to him, but he isn’t too sure if she actually believes him. She eventually heads home with a strange look on her face.

Relationships can be weird, Brandon muses. Some don’t pursue any kind of romantic relationships, some screw themselves over and over again, and some find themselves in committed relationships even though they never thought they’d be that kind of Sim.

“Komei! Funny meeting you here? How’s life?”

“Alright. Brittany is settling in nicely.”

Brandon cleared his throat: “You are aware that… you know… Joe has started dating again?”

“Through the grapevine.”

“You’re okay with that?”

“Eh. Thought we might still have a chance, but well… didn’t work out. I moved on with my life, he can move on with his. I’m so over this whole drama. Especially considering all the shit he pulled off with Christy and his kid.”

“If you say so. Call me if you need someone to talk, give me a call, okay?”

Komei scoffed: “You’re the fifth person to offer me that. I’m fine.”

None of them noticed that close to them, someone started to intently listen to their conversation…
