Oh yes. Well in my case it’s more of a “What the heck Saturn/Mediamarkt why don’t you have any good PCs under 600€?” Seriously, every second PC there had an onBoard-card. And the other graphic cards were pretty crappy. My new monitor won’t be a “omgsobeautifulicanteven”, though. It will be an early namessake day present and most likely be 19" big. It’s good enough for me though. Seriously, anything is better than my beloved huge laptop with falling off keys. 🙂

(Sorry, I’m really talkactive today)

So I went to the computer store today and the owner and I put together a good base. It’s not the best of the best, but it’s alright (and better than what I already have). Plus, it’s a PC, not a Laptop, so I can update it if I want. And know what? He told me I can have it tomorrow. Well not really, because I don’t have my license yet and my parents aren’t there to drive me around tomorrow. 😀 And I still need a monitor a keyboard and a mouse. But hey, anythings better than a laptop which constantly loses keys!

(I’m a bit in shock about the price though, because I converted it into dollars and now I’m sitting here hyperventilating. I hate spending money for myself.)

In unrelated news, I’m too bored for my own good. I can’t play the game for more than half an hour before I get bored, I picked up violine-playing as a hobby again (although a string is missing and it sounds like a run over ferret- need to get a new string and some digital tuner- it’s been so long) and I still got 2 months left until college starts. Who thought that having a 5 (more 4 ½) months holiday when you finishing school is a good idea? (I’m pretty sure I will regret this question once I started college. I’m still mad that I didn’t manage to snatch a summer job.

My poor old laptop is slowly dying on me and while I was already on the lookout for a new one, I was kind of reluctant to buy a PC online or build it myself (because I’m all thumbs (that’s apparently a figure of speech?) and am a poor student/college student). But it seems like my little brother has a friend who works in a workshop, so I might finally get a new PC soon! Yaay!

I’m also going to tag all my posts about me rambling, talking nonsense or just babbling about unimportant things with “aonda is talking to herself” additionally to “non-sims”, so if you want to avoid text walls about nothing or personal things here you go!

(Also, I have a “kind of” problem. And I just lost my “y” key (the top thing). I can still use it, thank god.)

And again, I talk to much. Or write, in this case, write.

More progress! Far left ist the old Boatshouse, build by a german chef (hence the redundant ’s’). To its right are the Uptown shopping buildings, which are connected by a small park where art from local artists can be displayed. Down by the docks are 6 little shacks which and a small super market. The big yellow building is an apartment building for Sims who want to trade their life by the foot of the hills for one down by the sea (I imagine the suburb district by the foot of the hills). I changed two of the residential lots to a church and a graveyard for the religious sims.

Progress! Only six seven (I can’t count this early in the morning) more community lots to go and I can start building residentials! (the two buildings in the middle are actually just shells right now until I decide what to do with them)

Right now, there are two parks, one little shac where they sell magazines and a dock where you can go swimming, buy swimming gear, eat a snack and even get a massage with view on the open sea…
