All work and no Sims…

Only two more months (and a 30 pages term paper, two 20 pages term papers and 2 half-hour oral exams- ugh) and I’ve finally got a college degree. Took me long enough!

And if everything goes wrong… I know so much about Jack the Ripper now (one of my oral exams is about him- and socio-economic developments in post-war Britain- EXCITING!) that I could just move to London and do tours. Or become a copycat killer- haven’t decided yet.

Woo! I survived the first week of college! It’s still just introduction week, but I’ve finally got my courses assigned. Apart from the Anglistics stuff (or English Studies for the British), which are very methodical, I’ve got one class about the basics of dramas, one about opera in the 18th century, one basic course about the history of theatre and one class about the “Irish Renaisscence” in theatre. This is bound to be interesting!

On an unrelated note: I’m loading up my game in the first time for weeks!

I don’t know if it’s working, my oldold PC couldn’t handle it. ^^ Maybe you wanna try that?

Hm, the widescreen issue isn’t too bad. As long as the screensaver program is working, I’m happy. 😀 But I might have a look at that programs…

Oh yes, they were. My parents were talking about this the other night actually! 😀

Really? That’s great! *goesdownloadsfraps*

I think I might be in love… I didn’t even knew that Sims could move so fluid! One small question however: How can I get the windowed mode to fill out the whole screen (it’s 21.5" if that helps and the screen resolution is selected). Also, end of the spam, I promise!

Obligatory question mark ->?

Okay, so far that’s the only problem I’ve encountered. And I can live with shadows on medium. 😀 After I installed the expansion packs, I was even able to smooth edges. Now to install the rest (fingers crossed).

Okay, Basegame installed. I can’t seem to use “smooth edges”, but oh my good, no more blocky terrain! Yaay! Even if it’s not the best graphic card, I’m happy! Now I just have to install the other 17+ discs…
