Third Sixth time’s the charm?

thesimtraveler tagged me in this awesome meme: List 5 facts about your most favourite sim of yours, and send this to 10 simblrs whose sims you adore

Hm… I tend to switch neighbourhoods and Sims quite a lot, so this is kind of hard because I have so many favourites. But hey, I managed to choose one. No one you have seen very often, but hey!

This is Emmeline “The Knight’s daughter” from my medieval neighbourhood.

1. Emmeline was raised by her father and her stepmother after her mother died in childbirth. She is close with both, although she and her stepmother are more like sisters than mother and daughter.

2. Emmeline was never part of this whole power-spiel of the rest of the noble families in her home kingdom. Her father just wants to keep out of trouble, and so does she… well, she did.

3. Emmeline’s father is the one who is responsible for hosting high-ranking prisoners of war. Emmeline fell for one of them. Too bad he was some sort of prince or something and was married to one the princesses shortly thereafter.

4. Emmeline recently gave birth to twin girls, Otilia and Emery. Out of wedlock, worst of all. She practically invisible in the eyes of the court now. Her father, who wasn’t very happy about her falling for the prisoner, still supports her, though.

5. Emmeline, like her mother, is a witch. A powerful one, too. Scorned by almost everyone, she plans her revenge.

So… yeah. I’m not going to tag anyone as literally anyone on my dash already did this, I think.

(That didn’t last long. Needed a break from studying for 6 exams… Even a short one. Opened up my medieval game)

The Knight’s daughter found a secret room in the castle, probably property of her mother… And a way to avenge all the people who scorned/betrayed her (namely the court)

Step 1: Hex the Crown Prince so he would never be able to have a successor

Step 2: Tabula rasa the Crown Princess. Make her run away with her peasant lover

Step 3:Watch the friendship between the King and the Duke crumble as their childrens’ erratic behaviour leads to crisis

Step 4: Either kill the Baron who betrayed her and left her with child as he set off to marry the princess/was chased away by her father or maybe, if he was willing to continue their relationship, help him rising through the ranks of the court, get rid of his wife

Step 5: She wasn’t sure about what would follow, but she was sure whatever path she would choose, it would lead to revenge

(And now back to Linguistics and Dutch grammar. Bye Sims game, it was fun while it lasted!)

And this is were I decided that for once, I could bend the rules. They are the royals, they have a genie lamp, why the heck not!

(For my headcanon, let’s just say that the princess knows of her father’s intentions (I really need to put up some family portaits and explain some stuff… her father is a noble and ‘second in command’ and would really like to see one of his son succeed on the throne) and would rather not provoke a conflict… well we see how long this will work. Apart from the power-hungry second-in-command, there is the king’s mistress with high ambitions and a foreign prince married to one of the king’s daughters who has high hopes, too Wow, that’s a lot of headcanon…)

Well… This was the heir to the throne and only male child of the king… His wife tried pleading for him, but no such luck (she’s in love with another one. A peasant, even!). So the empire will likely fall to one of the king’s daughters and their families. The queen’s unfortunatly too old to have another child.

Number Six – Finale (Dracula – a musical)

That was almost too easy.

David tried to fight his instincts, but eventually succumbed to them. Centuries of hunger and killing have turned him into a coldblooded, cruel creature who hunts for entertainment and the thrill.

Number Five – Silver Strand (The Corrs)

This one was tricky since there are no actual lyrics in this song. But it always gave off a peaceful vibe to me, and being obviously water-themed, I settled on a nymph.

Miriel is believed to be the forest guardian. No one has seen her in decades, but it is said that she leaves behind a trail of flowers wherever she goes.

Number Four – Ebben? Ne Andro Lontano (La Wally, an opera)

Wilhelmine fled her parents farm to marry whoever she pleases, only to be humilated by her true love. Now, she’s plotting her revenge.

(Jesus Christ, I need some happier songs…)

Number Three – Shampain (Marina and the diamonds)

Being left for a younger maiden, Agnes spends her days and remaining fortune celebrating lavish feasts, drinking and living the day, doing everything to forget the shame.
