didilysims said: It needs a bit of help (few BDC lots don’t), but I’ve always thought it’s pretty cool. I wish they had built even more houses in the tech style, actually. Socialites are lacking too…. Because obviously there aren’t enough lots in the neighbourhood already. 😉

I wholeheartedly agree. The downstairs pool is pretty cool, and even though I shudder at the thought of only having half-walls surrounding them, it does look pretty rad.

Yeah, they went completely overboard in the jock (?) district by the sea and neglected all of the Upper Belladonian districts (which is a shame, really). But even more lots would be madness, too. Aren’t there like 50 lots already?

(Also, I may or may not have stolen borrowed some of your makeovers of Belladonna Cove. Seriously, they are so pretty!)

Mod: Online Chat Shows Full Name

(For @dramallamadingdang, thank you for coming with that idea!)

The Chat With… interaction now shows the full name of Sims who are currently online instead of their first name.

Works with Maxis computers. It should also work with custom ones, though I’m not sure about Monique’s hacked computers since I never use them.

Works with any language (+ fixed a mistake Maxis did in the French version).

The signed on/signed off notifications also show the Sim’s full name.

Jennicor Tricou strikes me as exactly the type of person that blames the women her husband cheats on instead of her husband.

Desiderata Valley is like my least favorite neighbourhood (mostly because I lack any kind of inspiration for it), so I knew I had to do something to spice things up. Well, guess what? “Desiderata Valley is a swinger community” is now my new headcanon.

241 Desmond Drive (Belladonna Cove)

How neat! I ended up moving the Baldwins there, they really fit the aesthetic.

eulaliasims said: wait, how have I never seen this lot before?! I might have to install Belladonna Cove to investigate, it looks pretty cool.

It the farthest lot up north in the Tech district, it’s pretty well hidden. Yes! It’s got a pool, very interesting (but useable) architecture, and the downstairs is absolutely not weatherproof. It’s a statement.

I wanted something without commitment, to play whenever I don’t feel like playing Middleground, so I came up with this. My goal is to have all six children of Jon Smith Tricou grow up into adults (don’t know whether I’ll send them to college or not) and ultimately have one of them reach the top of the Occult career and revive Jon Smith and his family (a college degree would be helpful for that), all while leading happier lives than they- presumably- had before. For an added challenge, I might turn some of them into supernaturals during this… challenge?

So, this is 31 Mendoza Drive, the quite shabby home of the Teens (gotta appreciate Eaxis ‘moldy’/’shabby’ wallpapers. They are great!).

Swan, Kestrel, Tiave and Orion come back from school with varying degrees of happiness about their marks. Because each of them brought home a friend from school, poor Loren is beamed out of the school bus. I have no idea where Patrick is, but he is there. Somewhere.

God; I miss these guys.

I think I’ll play them for a bit today.

So there were a few weird moments during my oral exams that still crack me up (also finished both of them with a B+ so… woooo!)

Examiner 1: So you were really good at remembering little details. Very graphic description of the Ripper killings. I could have done without ever knowing them and I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight, but good for you. To be fair, I’m kinda concerned.

Examiner 1: So, now that you’ve proven that you are able to read and comprehend a Wikipedia page, can you tell me something about…

Examiner 2: So why do you think the sovereigns tried to make Henry IV abdicate?
Me: Because they were asshol- oh my god. OH MY GOD. I’m sorry.
Examiner 2: …
Examiner 2: No. No, that’s fair.

That very same night, I found out I was pregnant again. Josie would get her sibling after all!

I hadn’t had a job in months, quickly burning through my meagre savings. I was stuck in a trailer park in one of the weirdest towns I’ve ever seen, pregnant with a married man’s child yet again- although I was eerily sure Opal and Edward would be weirdly okay with it. But I hadn’t seen them in weeks, not after that awkward evening, and I was not sure I could face them ever again. Apart from that, did I want to raise my children in a town like this?

Thank Plumbob I stumbled upon an ad in the Sim City News the next morning. “Waiter/ waitress needed for grand reopening. Minimum wage plus tips. For further information, please call Isabella Monty”

So a few days after Josie’s birthday, both of us packed their bags, locked the trailer behind us and headed to Veronaville.
