Their parents are cute as ever, but Christy can’t help but feel a bit sad that her youngest are teenagers already.

And sloppy ones at that (because I’m on my potato-laptop and that’s only marginally better than my smartphone. But has spellcheck.)

Says the simmer who’s neighbourhood pictures make me feel green with envy (on a serious note, good to know that even you hate it!).
katatty-main said: oooh, this looks great! really good use of the maxis deco!
Wait til you see the other side of the lake… thanks for your compliment. I find it very hard to decorate full neigbourhoods, so it’s good to hear that people like it.

Glad you like it!
katatty-main said: i’ve had this problem too and had to change the names in SimPE some downloaders of europa have also had this issue – i think it’s caused by different language versions? like if you made it in a german-language game english games will attempt to “translate”, but not sure
It appears that when you don’t “confirm” a name in SimPE (e.g. change it), the game will think they have no name and assign a random name to it in the game language (my SimPE does something like this, too. I guess it’s confused because my game language is set to American English, while my system language is German). Already thought “confirming” the names in SimPE will solve it. I’ll try it out tomorrow and see if it’ll work.
hey! can’t wait to download Rodeburg when i get home! i’m working on a nhood myself and tbh your release has just inspired me to keep going, because god can it get tiring, anyway, Rodeburg looks great! can’t wait to load it up!
Aw, stop it anon, you’re making me blush! Thank you for your kind words! (And if you ever happen to release that hood, shot me a link!)
Edit: Whoops, meant to answer that privately. Except-in-oddville-maybe is experiencing a weird bug where in her German Sims Installation, the names of the Sims are randomised (poor Henri Trist even got a woman’s name). It seems to be a common problem, will look into it tomorrow.
And then it’s time for a double birthday! Benjamin and Andrew become teens.

Benny becomes a popularity sim who dreams of becoming a superhero (Captain Hero, to be precise) and Andy’s aspiration is family, and he wants to have six grandkids. Which is great because his mother has the same lifetime aspiration wish.

Remington is home, which means more group hugs and an impromptu dance party on the sidewalk. Kaylynn is impressed.

Benny continues to ignore his playdate, Chloe Bruty.
Meanwhile, Timothy, who’s snuck off to work, shows compassion to a pregnant woman and gets promoted! He’s now an Emergency Technician (and overachiever).
The parent-child greeting animation is so friggin cute!
Timothy comes home from school with only one thing on his mind… well, two actually. Let’s make some money!
