The floor plan and a couple of interior shots of that lighthouse keeper’s cottage, because why not? It’s not very nautical, I’m afraid. 😉 Obviously, interior decorating really isn’t my thing, and, believe it or not, this is actually a heckuva lot more than I usually do. *laugh* I always leave the bedrooms empty until pixels move in, though; I like to sort of personalize those a little bit. I also like that the dog yard is bigger than the house. *laugh*

The lighthouse keeper’s wee 2 bed/1 bath cottage. I don’t even know why I built this. I don’t even have a lighthouse keeper in Hinterlands…but I guess I’ll have to “elect” someone to become one now… Maybe a Hinter. God knows there are enough of them. And apparently, they will have a dog. And the place is red and gray/white to match the lighthouse because I’m “clever” that way. Derp.

Anyway, the outside is done…ish. The inside…totally not. *laugh* Pics are captioned, if you care.

whales aren’t fish though

Yes, they are mammals, I know! But I have some sort of problem with everything fishy or scaly (Snakes are bad, too). I don’t really know where this comes from (probably because my grandpa once accidently killed all his fish while I was watching- he tried cleaning the pond and the fish were stored in a coppered barrel and they suffocated- I don’t really know what went wrong), but it got worse over the last years. Maybe I’m just freaking out about nothing. Oh, and I do appreciate the detailwork in the Sims/Simcity franchise, regardless of my silly little fears. 🙂

ya know what needles mean. thats weird?

I’m sorry if you have taken offence in my url (atleast I guess that’s what you’re trying to tell me). Yes, I’m aware what “needles” are. But to be honest, I don’t use it in this way. aondaneedles is a variaton of a username I use quite often: Aonda Needles. First part of the username is inspired by the name Aouda in Jules Vernes’ novel “Around the world in eighty days” (to be honest, I just misspelled it back then), which I loved when I was younger. The second part is actually the name of our family dog, a lovely, calm animal. His name is Needles. But he isn’t named after a medical device, he is named after a chalk cliff at the british Isle of Wright, where my parents had their honeymoon. Here, have a pic of him:

Challenge Eight: Supernatural

Always wanted to play with the games Supernatural Sims but never have? Are the supernatural states your favorites? Do you enjoy using CC to dress your Sims up as supernatural beings or mythical creatures? If you answered yes to any of these questions this month’s challenge is for you.

Turn your premade Sims into a supernaturals! Turn the Curious brothers into Aliens, Mortimer Goth into a sexy elder vampire, or Cyd Roseland into a werewolf. Of course the challenge is not limited to supernatural states the game provides. Use CC to turn them into dwarves, satyrs, dragons! The possibilities are endless.

Rules:

Keep pictures in good taste. No NSFW (you may blur or cover nibbly bits and submit), No Misogynistic, Racist, Homophobic, Transphobic etc. stuff. If there’s a question about it, it’s probably not okay. No violent or triggering imagery.

Regular rules about genetics are suspended for this challenge. So, you may change eye color, skin tones, etc. to transform your Sim. However, you may NOT alter the structure of Sims faces, so…

No cosmetic surgery.

You may change the age of the Sims. For example, teens can be changed to adults, children as teens, elders as adults, etc.

You may submit older pictures if you have them.

You may submit up to 3 entries.

Please add the name of your blog in the description of your submission.

The “Submission” button is right below the site’s header. Submissions for Challenge Eight:Supernatural will be accepted through June 30, 2014.
