So, I felt super inspired to try out this challenge by rockethorse, and though I’m not a big fan of music memes, I thought: Heck, why not. My medieval neighborhood (yep, still playing that one) was in need of townies anyway.

And of course the weirdest bunch of songs came up (I really need to clean up my ITunes library. It still has songs in it I haven’t listened to since I was 14…

Number One- Tubthumping (Chumbawamba)

Roger-  Thief, Revolutionist and the towns finest drunk.

CAS Music Challenge:

rockethorse:

  1. Open up your game/Bodyshop and your music player of choice.
  2. Put your playlist on random and generate 6 songs. If you get the same artist/song twice, skip until you get a new one. You can swap out the older song for the newer one but you can’t keep both.
If you don’t like a song you can honestly skip it lol. This is for fun!
  3. Make one Sim based on each of the songs you got! You can use anything related to it for inspiration – the song title, the artist, the lyrics, even the music video or promos from the song.
  4. If you share your results, talk about what inspired you and why you chose the final result!

Bonus idea: Listen to your Sim’s song on repeat as you make them to really get into the concept.

That actually sounds really interesting…

Quick heads-up that I won’t be very active until mid-October. My internship for the opera production at my college started this week (yes, that s a thing that exists- and its highly professional. The local philarmonists are involved) and I haven’t even TOUCHED my PC since then. Its mostly work from morning til late- and its awesome so far.Im just sooo goddamn tired when I come home (sorry for spelling mistakes in advance- tiredness and tablet autocorrection with a mind of its own). And Ive got the catchiest part of the opera stuck in my head for days. Weve all Bern humming along all day.

Omg

LMAO. Please. I’m older than Pong.

I know, Icad, we’re surrounded by tiny children here! Makes me want to go on a rampage of cheek-pinching and hair-ruffling.

I am 4 years younger than Pong, but still older than the Nintendo Game Cube… by a lot O_o

Older than the GC. Younger than the NES.

Older than the NES, younger than Atari. Played both like it was my job! 😀

Older than NES too, by 8 months or so XD

Younger than the NES, Older than Windows 2.0 8D

Good lord, i remember playing video games on the Commodore with Cassettes!!

I’m as old as Windows 3.0 🙂

Younger than the NES, Sega Genesis, and Super NES. Older than Playstation and Nintendo 64.

Juuuuust slighty younger than Pong…by like, a hair.

younger than pong, but older than

the first version of Windows, Windows 1.0

Older than Pong, Older than Windows, Older than Microsoft. IBM hadn’t started making personal computers(1981) when I was born. The first mini computer (PDP) had only just started being marketed when I was born.

Get those cheeks ready to be pinched, and hair to be ruffled you youngsters!

I’m just barely younger than the US release of the NES & just barely older than Windows 1.0

Barely older than the Japanese release of the NES, somewhat younger than the C64 (click it, you know you want to).

I like this way of measuring age.

I’m younger than Atari but older than Nintendo.

Definitly older the GameCube, barely older than the N64.
