Thanks. It was a downloaded lot. I bulldozed it and rebuilt it from scratch. It’s working now (and I no longer get weird stares from my Sims).

Are you sure all your drivers are up-to-date? My old PC once went bersek due to over 20 drivers I haven’t updated. *chrm*
Yeah, they’re all up to date. I think it’s just age. I mean, it’s now 4 years old (and my original graphics card already croaked). The Windows installation has been slightly buggy since last year, so that’s probably the issue. Thank god Win7 is not that expensive.
