View from the lake lot…

“Komei! Funny meeting you here? How’s life?”
“Alright. Brittany is settling in nicely.”
Brandon cleared his throat: “You are aware that… you know… Joe has started dating again?”
“Through the grapevine.”
“You’re okay with that?”
“Eh. Thought we might still have a chance, but well… didn’t work out. I moved on with my life, he can move on with his. I’m so over this whole drama. Especially considering all the shit he pulled off with Christy and his kid.”

“If you say so. Call me if you need someone to talk, give me a call, okay?”
Komei scoffed: “You’re the fifth person to offer me that. I’m fine.”
None of them noticed that close to them, someone started to intently listen to their conversation…
Funny how people suddenly rediscover their ‘christian heritage’ when it comes to shops opening on Christmas Eve (all shops are closed on Sundays in my country; some shops got a special permit to open on Christmas Eve, because- let’s face it, otherwise people would complain how they couldn’t shop on Christmas Eve), or churches closing down (because they don’t get enough traffic). Yeah, and somehow, the Muslims are responsible for that (both the shops and the churches… how?).
I’ve come to the conclusion that all my university professors are only slightly older college students and therefore nocturnal.
No, but seriously, what is it with professors and answering emails in the death of the night?
The lake seems to be pretty popular with the locals!
Brandon decides it’s time for him to gain some inspiration, so he heads off to a new community lot, a little lake in the forest (by plasticbox).
Truth be told, over at Brandon Lillard’s place, the two involuntary roommates spend most of their time ignoring each other. It’s not like they don’t like each other, it’s just that both of them enjoy their freedom.
I’m sorry, Ivy. You didn’t want to be a mum at all and now you’ll soon have two kids to look after…
But look at your family waiting for you, Ivy. Maybe it won’t be so bad…
It turns out, Poppy was right after all.
“What was that noise?”
“Mommy flew up to the stars.”
“Aren’t you like, afraid or something?”
“Nah. She’ll come back. You always come back when you fly, too.”
“That’s something completely… You’re right. Let’s go inside. (Please come back Ivy, I can’t take care of the kid. At all.)”
