Eventually, the boys return from school. Benny has an undefined disdain for his half-brother, someone (I think Timmy?) brought Poppy home from school and Andy dragged poor Orlando Bertino along.
Oh not again! They only have enough money to pay one of the bills. The other will have to wait until Remington has returned from work…
Eventually, the boys are off to school (they grow up so fast *sniff*), Remington heads to work and for the first time in years, Christy has the home all to herself. She celebrates with a nice, hot bath.

The rest of the gang gets up in the morning…
Poor Andy was unable to sleep because he was so embarrassed by him peeing his pants (poor baby!), so I let him clean the whole house. Yeah, I’m kind of an asshole.
“Let’s have another child!”
“Are you insane? We can barely feed the ones we have!”
Christy doesn’t mind ‘practising’ though.
(For the reference, Remington has a “Have baby” want, while Christy has the corresponding fear. I sense conflict in the future…)
Oh man! I’m so far behind on posting Middleground it’s not even funny. There is so much I want to show you (Weddings! Adoptions! Breakups! Affairs! Aliens! Joe Carr finally growing a spine! Oh my!) but alas… I guess you’ll have to wait.
