At 10 am, right as Komei prepares breakfast, the social worker’s van appears in front of the street. I wonder which orphan it will be (please not Orlando!)

It’s little Brittany! Welcome to the family, Brittany Parker Tellerman.

Komei decides that if- IF- he decides to apply for that job opening, he needs to be fitter. Working as a firefighter has kept him in great shape, but he just doesn’t feel ‘it’ fit. A quick workout before bed t won’t do any harm, right.
Of course, the ‘quick workout’ turned into a long session and he doesn’t head to bed until sunrise.
JUST LEAVE!
An old friend calls. Before he moved to Middleground, Komei was an MVP but left for various reasons. A new spot as an assistant coach has opened on the team and that old friend thinks that Komei should apply for it. Hesitant at first, Komei promises to think about it.
But joke’s on them: we recycle everything so we got a special trash can that looks like a normal trash can but only holds like 20l. And it’s full of dog shit. Still… WHY?!
He must admit, he feels a bit nervous about it…
Komei has been thinking lately. He adores his parrot-buddy, but he doesn’t want to become one of those crazy old Sims that treat their pet like their child. He is a family man after all (family secondary) and would love to have a family one day. And maybe, one day could mean tomorrow?
Asshole.
Komei comes home from work with a promotion. Polly approves.
Komei and his parrot Polly are still very much in love.
